National Peace Day is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year on September 21. It was initially unanimously established in 1981 by a United Nations resolution. So today we compiled all our favorite songs about peace. Some of these songs have peace in the title, while others sing about freedom and harmony like The Beatles’ “Come Together.” We’ve got some great ones in here like “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace)” by George Harrison, a handful from Michael Franti & Spearhead such as “Show Me Your Peace Sign,” and John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change.”
