Theme Ride Thursday: Blast Off to Our Stars, Moons, and Planets Playlist—UPDATED FOR THE ECLIPSE!

UPDATE 2023: There is a solar eclipse on Friday, October 14. Use this profile created for the eclipse 6 years ago for this year’s solar event.

Update: We realized this playlist didn’t include any songs specific to eclipses and added a handful of them, allowing you to create a perfect profile for the upcoming solar eclipse on Monday, August 21, 2017. We also included a quick profile called “Staring at the Sun” by Karen Cruz.  which can be found below. Enjoy!

With the summer equinox quickly approaching, we got to thinking that we needed a Stars, Moons, and Planets playlist, which will serve as a quick reference for all your celestial rides. We’ve gathered rock, classic rock, country, and R&B favorites that any astronaut or space traveler would like. So buckle up and get ready for blastoff as we soar through hits like “Space Oddity” by David Bowie, “E.T.” by Katy Perry, and “Aquarius (Let the Sun Shine In)” by The 5th Dimension

Moons, Earth, Stars, and Planets Bucket Playlist on Spotify (>220 songs)

As always, if we’ve missed your favorite just let us know in the comments below and we’ll add more songs to the list.
