I’ve created an outer space travel playlist ride and have happily included Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun and also Astronomy Domine. There is an amazingly helpful band out there with space oriented music combined with voices from the early space travel days, call Public Service Broadcasting (they are also British). Used Django Django as well, Moody Blues, B-52s, Bowie, etc. There’s way more out there. I’d be happy to share this Strength/Endurance ride!
Wow. What a fantastic summation of the music of Pink Floyd-beautifully written! I too am old enough to refer to them as ‘The Floyd’. Thanks for suggesting the song, and giving some great cueing ideas to go along with it!
