I just love this dreamy version of this track. Even though the tempo is 128 bpm, I find you can depart from the beat and attach your legs to the guitar rhythm and imagine pedaling alongside an Ibizan beach. Or, if you prefer, grab the 64 rpm cadence and cruise uphill.

One review of this track states: The bubbling influence of Latin flavours in house music washed up again on Defected shores with this Gerald Elms produced, Ibizan flavoured groover, stuffed with chilled out Spanish guitar and piano parts.

I’ve had this track in my library since it first came out in 2001. I’m not sure where I got it but I still use it when I want a chilled Latin beat. The Spanish guitar sounds have found a permanent spot in my Vuelta a España rides. Since the energy is more low-key, it works well as a warm-up or a mild climb.

Spotify has five different versions of this track, some longer, some shorter, and a few with more energy, perfect for a more substantial climbing effort. I’m sure you’ll find one you love! Apple Music does not have the chill out mix mentioned here, but they do have four other versions.
