Theme Ride Thursday: It’s Fall, Y’all!

For fall, we’re bringing you three different playlists to welcome the cooler weather. If you’re feeling some “Summertime Sadness” we hope these playlists will get you excited for the change of seasons.

First up is our “Autumn” playlist, which is composed of songs about the season. Things that quickly come to mind are pumpkin pies, comfy sweaters, campfires, the leaves changing, etc. You’ll find songs such as “November Rain” by Guns N’ Roses, “Sweater Weather” by The Neighborhood, and “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire here. Make sure to check out this Friday Favorite for a choreographed song full of accelerations you can easily weave into your fall profile.

Feel free to suggest songs we may have missed so we can grow the list.

Until the next time, I leave you with these thoughts….

fall reasons we love it

Hi Ed. We look for new songs every year but sadly there weren’t any that “fall” into these themes this year that we could find. We’re always happy to take suggestions though!

  3. They are all pretty much slow songs. What kind of ride do you do with those?

Hi Sherri, While most of these are on the slower side and perfect for a ride intro or cool down there are some real gems in here. I highlighted a few that I plan to use and a rough idea of how I would use them. Since most of these work for climbing with some exceptions I would gear this towards a strength ride.

This is off the cuff and in particular order, so please keep that in mind.
