Power Training for Indoor Cycling Chapter 19 Part 2: Building Power Workouts

Heart Zone and Cadence Targeted

In the Cadence / Heart Zones® Matrix below we see the Muscular Endurance range is from high Zone 2 to low Zone 4, with Zone 3. If we then look to the  left side of the chart, we can see the cadence ranges from 66 to 85. Within these ranges we can be assured that we will be developing muscular endurance in our legs. Naturally the higher the heart zone, (and typically the lower the cadence), the more aggressive this development will be.

Class Builder doesn’t actually do the emailing – it uses the emailing you already have setup on your device. It prepares a PDF file that can be sent through the default email system that is already extant and working on the device. So, first set up your email, do a test, then you can try it by following the steps above (or watching one of our tutorials on-line about it) to send yourself a PDF of one of your classes.

  2. My class builder does not have the emailing. Do I need to purchase an upgrade?

To see the links to email a PDF and such you go into “EDIT” from the main menu, then select one of your classes. Once you are at the class main page, touch on the class title area (we call that the class header area) and on that specific screen you will see, in the upper right corner, the universal icon for apps regarding output – PDF, email, etc). If you can’t find it from this description, just call our office during M-F business hours EST and we can help. Phone number is on our website. Thanks

  4. Can you help me out with the “Settings” screen? I am not seeing the links to email, etc. when I use Class Builder on my iPhone.
    Advice? Thanks so much.

  5. the time is worth it to me so i don’t have to constantly make new profiles. sometimes a tweak here and there but that’s it to get multiple purposes for one planned profile. thanks Gene for the excellent resources at our fingertips.
