Best Practice #6 – Knows the Path
An extraordinary indoor cycling coach knows how to lead participants by supporting their
goals and dreams. She shows them that their path is ripe with possibilities. It’s this
journey along their path and not the end destination that helps them grow and succeed
to live their best lives.

Best Practice #7 – Live as a Person of Character
An extraordinary indoor cycling coach accepts his failings but has the courage to make
changes within himself. He lives by his commitments and encourages commitment from
his participants.

Best Practice #8 – Creates Perspective
An extraordinary coach emphasizes the process and not the end result. She illuminates
perspective and helps align priorities. She sees her participants as leading whole lives
beyond the spin bike and the studio.

Best Practice #9 – Is a Lifetime Learner
An extraordinary indoor cycling coach embraces a lifetime of learning. She feeds off of
curiosity and questions, understanding that to learn is to flourish.

Best Practice #10 – Celebrates Life
An extraordinary indoor cycling coach celebrates life by being fully present and engaged.
Each class becomes a celebration of effort, facing new challenges together, pushing
beyond physical, mental and emotional boundaries.

“This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature, instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the
world will not devote itself to making you happy” ~ George Bernard Shaw
