I’m coming to Pittsburgh – please join me in person or online

By Jennifer Sage On February 8, 2012 Under Continuing Ed and Events

Spinning classI will be at Cycling Fusion in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania February 17 teaching two classes that will once again be videoed for the Cycling Fusion digital class library. If you are local, you can attend these classes for FREE if you sign up in advance. We will once again stream the classes over the internet, but there will be a small fee for viewing.

The rides are the following (Times are EST, GMT – 5):
6:00- 7:00pm Progressive Meritage. This is a creative, high intensity interval class done in four sets. The first three sets are each a different position, the fourth set is a blend of all three – a meritage if you will! Within each set, the intervals get progressively longer. A great class for when your students have a hard time staying focused!

7:15 – 8:15 Cruise Intervals. Longer, sub-threshold intervals at a tempo pace. This ride will focus on various cadences and the mind-body connection. This is the perfect ride during Base Building, or when you need to balance your week with a less aggressive pace.

Here is the information to register to attend in person:

  2. Either login (if you’ve been to the site before) or create a username
  3. Click on “Classes” tab
  4. The Live broadcasts are clearly marked. They are at the same time but are marked “Live Broadcast”.
  5. You can purchase one or both. It is $12 for one, $20 to view both.
  6. If you purchase a single class, it will register you. Then, on the day of the broadcast, you will go to the “Live Broadcast Access” tab at the top left. You will see both the first and second ride available, select which one you want. Once you have chosen your ride, the other will become unavailable.
  7. If you purchase both classes, both links on the “Live Broadcast Access” tab will be available. (Red means it is available, black it is not.)

Please Note: you should purchase and sign up for the Live Broadcast AT LEAST 2 hours before they are scheduled to take place. The sooner the better. After purchasing, the links will not be available online until Feb 15th.

Delayed viewing: Yes, both classes will be available to view after the broadcast from February 21-28. (The delay is due to the Winter Training sessions being filmed the next day). If you plan to purchase the Live Broadcast but want to watch it later, you will still need to buy it by the 17th of February.

SATURDAY February 18th
I will also be lecturing and teaching the next day for the Cycling Fusion Winter Training. The lecture will be on Overtraining and how to avoid it, and the ride will be twofold. First I will do a Strength Development ride (45 min). Following that Gene and I will team teach to the Global Ride French Alpes video, which will of course, include some climbs.

Winter Training is only available to those who have signed up for the entire Winter Training Program.
