    I love this video. I think you must have led me here a few days ago? I already bookmarked it as part of the permanent collection. It’s nice and simple. And I didn’t realise (but probably should have) that ‘ankling’ whilst increasing instananeous power sacrifices efficiency. So it’s good for short bursts but not so great for the longest climbs. Obvious, now it’s pointed out. When did physics ever give you something for free?

    This is so helpful! I took notes while I listened. He has some excellent descriptions and explanations. Wish I could show video in class, but I will certainly use some of his language in talking about pedal stroke.
