About ICA
The Indoor Cycling Association is the premier online site for education, motivation and inspiration for indoor cycling instructors. Founded by Jennifer Sage, with 15 years experience educating and inspiring instructors, ICA will take your teaching and coaching experience to the next level.
The Amazing ICA Team of Experts
It is my goal to assemble the most powerful group of instructors and Master Trainers to provide our members with the best advice available in the industry. When you look at the first four contributors, Jennifer Sage, Jennifer Klau, Dixie Douville, Janet Toussaint and Tom Scotto, the numbers are going to astound you. Between the five of us, we have been educating instructors since 1996. This is our combined impact we have had on the indoor cycling world:
- 65+ combined years of teaching Spinning® and indoor cycling classes
- 55+ years of certifying instructors and providing Continuing Education
- 40+ conferences as Master Presenters
- Over 10,000 instructors trained, including orientations, continuing ed, master classes and conferences!
No other non-denominational indoor cycling online educational resource comes anywhere remotely close to that kind of impact on the training and education of indoor cycling instructors!
Mental training expert Dr Haley Perlus will be adding her insight, and coming soon I'll be adding a medical expert as part of our team. To help me with the music we have three instructors that have struck me as being totally passionate about their music and who are so excited to share it with you.
You will notice that we have two Ph.Ds on the team, plus three former longtime Master Spinning® Instructors and two current Master Instructors, and almost every team member is an avid outdoor cyclist in addition to being a passionate indoor cycling coach!
In addition to these contributors, I will seek out the best of the best to be guest contirbutors, from all areas of fitness and from as many indoor cycling programs as I can. I know you will not be disapointed with the quality of the content here on the Indoor Cycling Association.

Jörg Ellinghaus has a way of finding incredibly unique and inspiring sounds. He's been sending me music suggestions for a year and a half and I can honestly say that my style has changed because of him! I've been watching Kala for several years on one of the online indoor cycling forums and her passion for teaching has always been evident. Brian Greene - instructor and tech geek extraordinaire!
I met Brian last October in Boston and the year before on my previous website, and was struck by his love of teaching and his easygoing nature. Little did I know that he is also a genius with anything having to do with websites and the internet. He is a self-proclaimed tech geek! I can tell you this much, the ICA website would not be here if it weren't for Brian! I am forever grateful to him. (And if you need a website built, contact Brian!) . . .
