Learn how to use Spotify – get a 50% discount for the webinar here

By Jennifer Sage On May 22, 2012 Under Music

Spotify is a wonderful online music tool but so many instructors are confused on how amazing of a tool it can be. While you can immediately listen to great music and learn to create your own playlists pretty quickly, it can take a long time to learn how to use it to your best advantage as an indoor cycling instructor.

What if you could learn it all right now at a live online webinar?

Julz Arney, Schwinn Master Trainer, is going to help you do that. She is putting on a webinar for instructors on how to use Spotify.

May 30 at 6:30PST/9:30EST.

Here is the description of the webinar:

You search and buy music on iTunes. You discover and play free music on Pandora. Well, what if iTunes and Pandora had a baby? They would call it www.Spotify.com and it’s available now! As a group fitness instructor passionate about music, get ready to fall in love. This webinar, led by international presenter and technology super-sleuth Julz Arney, is your fast track to learning how Spotify syncs with your mobile device, integrates with Facebook, allows you to access and share play lists instantly, and much, much more (like how to avoid the issues and errors that can potentially highjack your music for class. We’ll cover THAT, too.)

Sage Advice readers and ICA members get a special discount! Normally the webinar is $10, but Julz is offering a special discount of 50% off. Just use the coupon code Julz50 when you sign up. If you register in advance, you will have access to the file anytime to view on your own schedule.

I know I’ll be there. Anything I can do to make the music acquisition and organization part of teaching a little easier, I’m all for that! Aren’t you?

    Hi Lisa,
since it will be a live webinar on May 30th, the file won’t be available to view until after the actual event happens. Once you register, they will send you an email with a reminder of the event, and then if you can’t watch it live, you can see it starting the next day.
